Carnival says all North American cruises from June 27 to July 31 are canceled, but that the cruise line will start up some cruises on Aug. 1, with eight ships out of Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston.
Guests who had a cancelled cruise will be offered a future cruise credit and onboard credit or a full refund.
Carnival has not announced any new safety measures that will be made for cruises. However, they said they will “engage experts, government officials and stakeholders on additional protocols and procedures to protect the health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we serve.”
