Chris Hemsworth is still set to portray Hulk Hogan in an upcoming Netflix biopic.
The film will be directed by the Joker’s Todd Phillips and executive produced by Bradley Cooper. The film is set to depict the early years of Hulk Hogan and the rise of Hulkamania.
It will be a fluff piece, as Hogan will be an consultant and executive producer. It will not go into Hogan’s racism or legal troubles.
Hemsworth discussed the film during an interview with Screen Rant. He’s promoting his new Netflix film, Extraction.
“I know it's being written now and worked on. I know very little about that. It's sort of in the process now," Hemsworth said.
“I'm just fascinated by that world, and I think they're pretty keen to show a side of the world that people haven't seen before. I'm as intrigued as you are," Hemsworth said.
