Florence Pugh, Shia LaBeouf, and Chris Pine have joined the cast of Olivia Wilde’s Don't Worry Darling.
The film is a psychological thriller for New Line. Wilde will direct and produce the film. She will also star in the film. Wilde is also producing the film with Katie Silberman, who wrote the script.
The details are being kept under wraps but “the setting is an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert and centers on a housewife who uncovers a disturbing truth about her seemingly perfect life.”
Florence will play the housewife.
No word on when the film will start production, before the pandemic they were eyeing for a late spring start. The studio hopes to being production when the restrictions are lifted and it’s safe to do so.
