The Dodgers surprised shoppers Thursday morning at a Smart & Final Extra! store in South Los Angeles by paying for their groceries at the checkout counter. The Dodgers Foundation agreed to pick up the tab for shoppers 60 years and older, expectant mothers, those with disabilities and first responders amid the coronavirus crisis. The Dodgers were cheated out of the 2017 World Series championship due to the astro's sign stealing.

The MLB has completed its investigation into allegations the Bawstin Red Sux were involved in a sign-stealing operation during their 2018 World Series-winning season. MLB has suspended replay operator JT Watkins for one year and stripping the team of a second-round draft pick. The team’s former manager, Alex Cora, is suspended for the 2020 season but only for his part in the Houston Astros’ sign-stealing operation, which MLB had already investigated. The Red Sux issued this apology.
