'Too Hot to Handle' Producers Explain Why That Blow Job Cost $6,000 https://t.co/NPTi7qsPdS— TheWrap (@TheWrap) April 18, 2020
Netflix debuted a new reality show called 'Too Hot to Handle'. Ten attractive contestants are sent to a resort for a month. The grand prize is $100,000. In order to win the full $100K, the entire cast has to abstain from sex. If they do have sex, the money is deducted from the grand prize.
A kiss costs $3,000, oral sex costs costs $6,000, and sexual intercourse costs $20,000.
The contestants are monitored by an artificially intelligent robot named "Lana." Lana is like Alexa, it watches the contestants every move. Lana also informs the house when someone breaks the rules and money is taken from the grand prize.
The Wrap spoke with two of the show's producers on how they came up with those amounts.
“There were these sort of long discussions to work out what was the right amount to be a penalty when they got it, but people could still work with that,” Jonno Richards said. “It wasn’t like there was a bar tab up on the wall saying, ‘this is what x costs, this is what y costs.’”
“We wanted to make it acceptable to break the rules so that we would have a show, but we also didn’t want to be too much about the money," said Viki Kolar. "We felt that $20,000 for sex was big enough, but it was those middle ground things that were a big debate."
ONTD, could you hold out for a month for a chance at $100,000?
