Let's Have A Dystopian/Futuristic/Disaster Themed Netflix Party, ONTD!

Over the last 4 weeks, several ONTDers & I watched National Treasure, The First Wives Club, The Craft & a We Hate Movies podcast selection - Jupiter Ascending together using the Chrome extension Netflix Party, where we used the built-in chat feature to discuss together....from a safe social distance.

Weekly movie viewings are planned with a selection poll on Tuesdays, sorry for the late poll this week!

1) Using Chrome Browser, Click here & click on the "Install Netflix Party" button. Once you are redirected to the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome" to finish installing Netflix Party.
2) On movie night, the host ONTDer will open a video in Netflix to watch and start playing the video. If selected, the host will have full playback controls (YMMV).
3) To create a party, the host will click on the red "NP" icon located next to the address bar. Then click "Start Party" to get the party started, and share the party URL in an ONTD post to invite everyone to join!
4) To join a party click on the party URL, which will redirect to Netflix's website. You must have your own Neflix account log-in. Then click on the "NP" button next to the address bar, and you should automatically join the party.

Below is a poll to vote for our fifth week's movie night selection & date/time. This week I have selected films with a dystopian/futuristic or disaster theme.

Thank you to everyone who made it to last week's viewing of Jupiter Ascending. Full disclosure, I fell asleep about 20 min from the end (it was over 2 hrs!!!) & woke up sometime later in a full panic that I had closed my laptop on you guys in my sleep. I was very relieved to reread the chat log from what I'd missed. I tried to rewatch w/ my kid later that weekend & fell asleep AGAIN. That movie was....really something. I demand a heavily edited space scenes/fashion cut with no blurry, endless confusing action scenes.
