-Issa Rae Spoke to "Teen Vogue" about her show "Insecure" which premieres Sunday.

-While Rae is glad to have art be noticed at this time, she does not want the show to be released all at once.RaeI love that people are anticipating[our return],but it's not done, and I would never want to release the season all at once because then what are you going to do next week?.

-Rae on the shows year and a half hiatus. Rae" It's a dream to be able to make this show, but I want to make sure it's good. We needed a pause. Coming back, we just felt so fresh and excited to be there, and it showed. it felt like fun again".

-Rae on criticisms. RaeWhen we were coming out, I tried to make disclaimers before the show premiered-like, 'Yo, this is a very specific Black female experience. This is personal to me, and it's about my friends. And even still, you get people that are like, 'That's not me' or'I don't know any Black people like that,".

-Rae on seasoned four of "Insecure". RaeI love this season so much. Season three we always knew was the building season. In the[writers room],we were always like,'Ooh, season four going to be lit!'{This season is} just about asking the question: Are people in your life for a reason or another season"?
