Amy Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fisher, are shooting a remotely made cooking show for the Food Network. The show will be geared toward stay-at-home viewers.
The eight episode series, Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, has been fast-tracked for a spring debut amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Amy and Chris are filming and producing the show themselves. The half hour show will feature Amy cooking comfort foods with farm fresh ingredients and mixing up drinks.
Amy also stated that her and her husband will be making donations to various organizations affected by the coronavirus.
“With everything going on in the world right now, we are so grateful to be able to share an entertaining and informative experience with viewers. And it is more important than ever to look out for one another, so Chris and I will be making donations to causes dear to us — The Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ Fair Food Program and select domestic violence organizations."
