Consumer demand for alcohol remains strong during the quarantine but one of the world's largest alcohol distributor Grupo Modelo, states that it's halting production and marketing of its beer because the Mexican government has shuttered non-essential businesses. The Anheuser-Busch Inbev-owned company also makes Modelo and Pacifico beers. The brand has exported to 180 countries around the world. Modelo is the second most popular imported beer in the U.S.
