Vancouver TV Shows May Need to Start on Their Next Seasons Late, Based on Province's Current Quarantine Plan https://t.co/IGRlCZQ3EE— TVLine.com (@TVLine) April 1, 2020
There are numerous shows that film in Vancouver (including basically all the CW shows and ABC's The Good Doctor and A Million Little Things) and British Columbia medical chief Dr. Bonnie Henry said in a press conference that things aren't likely to get back to normal until summer. Most shows start production late June/early July but this means a later start date. When they do resume production, it'll likely be late July/early August. However, this doesn't mean premiere dates will be affected - scripts for the final episodes of the season have already been written and post-production couldn't be completed on a lot of episodes that were able to shoot. Supernatural has two episodes left to film, but it's currently on an indefinite hiatus and the CW plans to air the final seven episodes at a later date.
