Ouch! Despite Niall Horan’s desperate pleas on Twitter to fans to purchase and stream his latest effort, “Heartbreak Weather,” the album dropped 43 spots from 4 to 47 in its second week. You hate to see it. Nail initially debuted at no. 4 last week with sales of 59,000 total units (42,000 in pure sales). His sales dipped 79% in his second week with 12k in overall streams and sales.
For comparison, his debut solo album “Flicker” debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 152,000 units (128,000 in pure sales). It could be worse. At least he didn’t fall completely out of the charts: Louis Tomlinson and his debut solo album “Walls,” debuted at no. 9 but fell completely out of the top 200 in its second week. And then there’s Liam Payne who debuted at no. 111.
Welp. That’s what he gets for paying “On The Loose” dust until the end of his first era and for not making “New Angel” the first single. But I digress...
