Several movie theater chains implement social distancing

*For people who for some reason still want to brave going to the movies (to see what?) several movie chains have announced they are implementing social distance policies in theaters.

*Regal and AMC have cut ticket availability by 50% by blocking out seats in the theater until April 30. Once the 50% capacity has been reached, showings will be marked as sold out. In addition AMC said no screening in their largest 500 seat theaters will exceed 250 people unless state mandates limit gatherings to less people. In addition AMC says they will have “enhanced cleaning procedures” in their theaters.

*Cinemark will implement this policy in California only for now.

*Alamo Drafthouse will put one buffer seat between each guest.
