The Little Mermaid live-action remake was set to go into production next week in London. Halle Bailey, Awkwafina, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and Jonah Hauer-King star.
Marvel's Shang Chi halted production in Australia (which had been going on since last month) after director Destin Daniel Cretton self-isolated until he is tested to protect his new born baby. Production was set to resume if his test results came negative, but production has been shut down indefinitely.
The Last Duel from Ridley Scott starting Matt Damon and Ben Affleck had been in production were four and a half weeks in Ireland.
Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley from Searchlight Pictures starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara was shooting in Toronto.
Shrunk, the reboot of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids starring Josh Gad and Rick Moranis.
Peter Pan and Wendy (theatrical release) and Home Alone reboot starring Ellie Kemper, Jojo Rabbit‘s Archie Yates, and Rob Delaney (designated for Disney+) have also halted production.
