The song was sung in The Tales of Ba Sing Se by Uncle Iroh as he honors his late son's birthday. Cue me crying forever.
Greg Baldwin, who voices Uncle Iroh in season 3, respects that it's Mako Iwamatsu's song and it was used to honor Mako's memory after his passing.
