Earlier today a fan asked Megan on Twitter when she would be releasing new music. Megan responded that she would be discussing it later on IG live.
Megan then posted a video stating that her label, 1501 wont allow her to release any new music until she renegotiates her contract with them.

Megan said that when she signed her contract, she didn't understand some of verbiage in her contract. Megan said that she was only 20 when she signed her contact. She states that it wasn't until she got real lawyers that they showed her the problems in her contract. She said that she asked 1501 to renegotiate her contract and they refused.
Megan also warned up and coming artists of the dangers of signing a contract that they didn't understand and advised them to get their own lawyer, one that was not connected with their future label.
It’s not that I literally didn’t read it it’s that I didn’t understand some of the the verbiage at the time and now that I do I just wanted it corrected 🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/OR44kna3cq— HOT GIRL MEG (@theestallion) March 1, 2020
