Costco Stores Will Soon Require a Membership to Eat at Their Famously Inexpensive Food Court https://t.co/67ZBv6vbRV— People (@people) February 21, 2020
The end is near on cheap Costco food court food. Well, for non-members that is. The company will soon ban the public from buying a cheap slice of pizza or a hot dog and soda combo for $1.50 without proof of membership. Signs have been spotted at some Costco locations across the nation, indicating a major change is coming to all food courts, which also sell churros and ice cream.
“Effective March 16, 2020, an active Costco membership card will be required to purchase items from our food court,” the sign reads. “You can join today. Please see our membership counter for details.”
Needless to say that this news has upset many on social media, while some club members welcome this change.
ONTD, do you have a Costco membership?
