"Airplane Mode" is the the most popular non-English film on Netflix ever

The Brazilian movie Airplane Mode (released a little over a month ago) is Netflix's most popular non-English language film... ever.

Airplane Mode is a teen comedy that stars Larissa Manoela, a 19-year-old who is already hugely famous in Brazil due to her career as a child star (she was notably in the Brazilian remake of the Mexican telenovela Carrusel).

According to Netflix, nearly 28 million households watched the film since it premiered, and 2/3 were outside of Brazil (inc. USA, Mexico, France, Germany).

The plot centers around a young influencer whose life revolves around her Instagram, and who gets into a car accident because she was looking at her phone. She is then sent by her parents to stay with her grandpa on a farm, with no phone access.

Here's the trailer (dubbed in English bc OP couldn't find it with subtitles?)
FYI THE ACTUAL MOVIE DOES HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES (+other languages) ON NETFLIX
