HDD: BTS on track for a no. 1 debut in the US with first week sale estimates of 260-300k

According to early estimates from Hits Daily Double, BTS will score the no. 1 spot next week in the US with sale estimates around 260-300k (220-250k in pure sales). “Map of the Soul: 7” will be group’s fourth no. 1 album, following “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Love Yourself: Answer,” and “Map Of The Soul: Persona.” Should the album reach anywhere near 300k, it’ll be the biggest first week opening of 2020 so far (beating recent releases from Eminem, Halsey and Justin Bieber).

Overall Early Estimates
BTS (BigHit/Columbia) 260-300k total (220-250k pure)
Youngboy Never Broke Again (NBA/Atlantic) 90-100k total (2-5k pure)
Ozzy Osbourne (Epic) 40-50k total (30-40k pure)
