Following multiple delays, it appears that Meghan Trainor will release her third studio album Treat Myself this Friday.
Originally slated for an August 2018 release, the singer-songwriter initially delayed the album "until [she got] everything out of [her] head and recorded in the studio." A second delay would be announced in January 2019, with Trainor citing having written "too many love songs" for the album.
Now it's been confirmed that the 15-track album will include new collaborations with Nicki Minaj and The Pussycat Dolls, in addition to previously released tracks featuring Lennon Stella, Mark Sabath and Sasha Sloan. "Nice to Meet Ya," featuring Minaj, is scheduled to be released as Treat Myself's new single in tandem with the album. (Unfortunately for Trainor, the surprise collab was ruined when the packaging for the album leaked online this weekend.)
