*The Hunger Games:Streaming Services Edition continues as NBC rolled out info on their new streaming service, Peacock.
*The service will have multiple pricing tiers including...free!
*The service will launch April 15 to Infinity X1 and Flex users, and will roll out nationally on July 15.
*What will you get for your price tier?
Peacock Free: This ad supported free tier will have 7500 hours of programming. Users will be able to access next day access to new episodes of NBC freshman series, full runs of older series like The Office, select episodes of Peacock original programming, as well as a selection of news, sports, movies, and Spanish language programming. THIS TIER IS FREE IT DOES NOT COST USERS ANY MONEY
Peacock Premium: $10 a month without ads, $5 a month with ads for users who don’t have access via an affiliated provider. Speaking of affiliated providers, customers of Comcast Xfinity TV and broadband subscribers (via Flex) and Cox Communications’ video customers will receive the ad supported version of Premium at no charge. More bundle opportunities may be unveiled later.
Premium will include 15,000 hours of programming, with access to everything on Peacock free as well as next day access to all of NBC’s current running broadcast series, Peacock originals, early access to late night shows starting at 8-9pm each evening, and expanded news and sports coverage.
THIS TIER IS FREE FOR CERTAIN CABLE/BROADBAND CUSTOMERS AND $5-$10 PER MONTH FOR EVERYONE ELSE
*The national roll out will include lots of 2020 Olympics coverage.
