We have important news regarding Cyberpunk 2077’s release date we’d like to share with you today. pic.twitter.com/aWdtR0grYV— CD PROJEKT RED (@CDPROJEKTRED) January 16, 2020
Right off the heels of the Final Fantasy VII Remake being delayed and making April a super crowded month filled with AAA games, CD Projekt Red announced they are also pushing back Cyberpunk 2077 to September 17, 2020. CD Projekt Red was accused of super harsh crunch times and poor working environments in the past during development of Witcher 3 and the company vowed to not repeat the same mistake with Cyberpunk 2077 giving more breathing room for devs to allow more polish the game needs jumping the release day to a later time.
Makes sense that everyone is cowering in fear over the release of Animal Crossing and all had to change their dates tbh.
