Baby Yoda’s price tag? Very expensive.

*While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, TV actor and known Baby Yoda puncher Adam Pally dropped a tidbit of knowledge on how many dollar bills you’ll need to build your own Baby Yoda.

*Pally describes acting in the scene where he decided to close his heart to humanity forever and punch the tiny frog lover. He took a pretty big swing at the bag (which actually contained the Baby Yoda puppet)and was then informed by series creator Jon Favreau of the the hefty price tag of the world’s adopted tiny green son.

* “They called ‘cut’ and Jon, who was watching on a monitor in his office, came down and said, ‘I just want to let you know that this is the hero and it costs, like, $5 million. So while I want you to hit it, I just want you to know that.’”

*Suddenly, paying $25 for a vinyl Baby Yoda is a bargain.

I love that damn puppet. Not enough to give Disney any more money than my monthly subscription, but I love hiiiim.
I had a visceral reaction to those white guys hitting Baby Yoda. I cant watch that scene again. Imagining his adorable face being punched makes me want to go on the attack.
Baby Yoda with subtitles cracks me up:

I miss my tiny green son 😔
just here to profess my love and devotion to baby yoda. i can curve many of disney's attempts to entrap me, but i am powerless against this tiny green angel.
Anyone know what happened with the child actor who played Baby Yoda before they replaced her with a puppet?
Wait what
I've been calling BS on this since it broke a few days ago. The puppet wasn't visible in any of the shots where it was smacked; why would they use a multi-million dollar hero prop for a stunt like that?

Also I figured Pally and Sudekis' performances were all ADR. Were they actually in the suits?
yea, its definitely not 5 million. Clickbat nonsense.

Now that animatronic of the Navi lady on the Avatar river board ride. THAT'S a 5 million dollar production, if there was one.

Also, i don't know for sure, but i'd imagine they were ADR'd.
not for nothing, but Pedro Pascals voice when he's doing his mando shtick gets me all hot n bothered.

I hope his face gets more camera time season 2. Even if it's just him in the cockpit of his ship.
surely that must be the insurance cost of Baby Yoda, not the actual puppet.
worth every cent! we love serotonin
