The #GoldenGlobes snubbed

Adam Sandler, Robert De Niro, Lupita Nyong’o, Shia LaBeouf, Greta Gerwig, and every other female directorhttps://t.co/7KhqcaCzjB
The 2020 Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning and as always the randomness of the HFPA snubbed quite a few people who have won/been nominated in film/TV. Here are a few.
-- Robert De Niro, “The Irishman” - was definitely expected to get a best actor - drama nod for the movie that got a million other nominations (including two in supporting actor) but Bob went amiss
-- Sandra Oh, “Killing Eve” - she literally won best actress - drama last year but got snubbed this year... so...
-- Adam Sandler, “Uncut Gems” - Adam's been getting nominations left and right for this so far, so the snub is rather surprising (as is the mass amounts of nods for 'The Two Popes')
-- Greta Gerwig, “Little Women” - she was getting recognition for best director AND screenplay this season so far but got snubbed in both (though since the Oscars splits original and adapted she should def get one there). As usual, best director is a sausage fest.
-- Lupita Nyong’o, “Us” - she's been nominated and won for this performance at some of the smaller rounds so far, so the snub is... surprising.
Variety also put 'Cats' as a snub which was fucking hilarious. Yeah right.
