Shortly after actual Aladdin Mena Massoud said he hasn't had an audition since the 1$B grosser, Disney has hired people to write a script...about the white prince, played by Billy Magnussen, who was in the film for all of 5 minutes.

Magnussen had a hand in the project’s inception. He came to the producers with an idea for a story and was involved, along with the studio and Rideback, in meeting with potential writers. It will be for Disney+
