Omg I'm high and read that as lizzo then hit play and was shook.

I've always found Liz's career to be interesting. She seems to a very versatile artist, who's been releasing decent bops, but she's still relatively unknown while artists like Kim Petras and Slayyyter were able to garner a fanbase.

Btw, someone give me some tea. How is the good sis getting tens of thousands of streams on Spotify but able to release these high budget music and lyrics videos??? Does she have wealthy parents or a sugar daddy bankrolling her?

The streams are likely from being added to a lot of playlists. She was kinda mismanaged since her early days/has publishing issues because most of her releases are mostly STILL only on her Soundcloud at the moment. She only had major label support with WIRTW which funny enough most people know her from, then was dropped #rip. She's on some indie labels now but I would still put her in that struggling artist realm (no shade to the legend Liz)

This comes at an opportune moment as I recently (as in an hour ago) rediscovered Jem. The singer, not the cartoon singer from the 80s. I think I first heard one of her songs on the OC and then got into some of her other songs. I don't actually remember.
