Anna Sorokin, the Soho Grifter, Has Found Love in Prison
Anna Sorokin, aka Anna Delvey, is a Russian woman who pretended to be a German heiress and scammed people out of more than a quarter of a million dollars. She is serving 4-12 years at Rikers, but don't worry... she has found love in prison.
“Earlier, prior to leaving [for prison] Anna had what she called some sort of girlfriend on Rikers Island. She did say that she had a ‘girlfriend’ — though the exact nature of the relationship behind bars was unclear."
Sorokin tricked banks into giving her outrageous loans which she wouldn't pay back. She even conned her friend out of $60,000 for a luxury vacation to Morocco. There are two movie/TV projects about Sorokin in the works at Netflix and HBO to be directed by Shonda Rhimes and Lena Dunham, respectively.

also, ew l*na d*nham... i still remember that untucked episode when she went backstage to say hi to the queens and kameron michaels just completely ignored her existence lmao.
What amazes me, more than anything she's ever done, is the amount of coverage she's getting. She only has like 700,000 followers on Instagram and her engagement rate is really low. She barely gets more than 20 comments per post, and usually no more than 1000 likes.
So, why are people even paying attention? Does she even have a real fanbase?
and i agree, i don't think she's a full on scammer. she's rather boring and idt anyone would be paying attention to her insta if it wasn't for the callout article. like, everyone is waiting for some drama to happen, but it's not happening because she's so bland.
