Taylor Kitsch has landed his first role back as the leading man on the big screen in Neill Blomkamp's upcoming Sci-Fi thriller, 'Inferno'. Blomkamp is best known for the Oscar nominated, 'District 9' and this will be his first feature since his release of 'Chappie'.
Per Variety: Kitsch will star as a cop who is called to investigate a seemingly ordinary murder in the New Mexico desert. There he uncovers a deeper conspiracy and begins to suspect that the killer he’s trying to find may not be of this world.
Kitsch has stuck to ensemble roles in 'Lone Survivor' and 'Only the Brave' as of late, while taking on leading roles in TV series' as David Koresh in the limited series 'Waco' and the upcoming series, 'Shadowplay' with Michael C. Hall and Nina Hoss. You can see Taylor next month alongside Chadwick Boseman, JK Simmons, Sienna Miller, and Stephan James in '21 Bridges'.
Over the weekend Taylor laced up the skates to support the Ronald McDonald house in the 3rd Annual Face Off to Fight Cancer. Sebastian Stan showed up to support his former Covenant co-star as well.
