Per the Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski are teaming for Imaginary Friends, a fantasy comedy that is in the process of being picked up by Paramount.
Ryan Reynolds is in talks to be the lead. If the deal goes through, Krasinski will write, direct, produce, and star in the film.
Imaginary Friends is about a man who can see and talk to people’s imaginary friends. He also befriends the imaginary friends that have been discarded or ignored. However, some imaginary friends turn evil. Then it's up to Reynolds' character to stop them and protect the world.
This sounds like a grown up version of the DCOM, Don't Look Under The Bed.
