Tall Girl was such a horrible cliché

Sounds like every Netflix teen film. The Perfect Date was the definition of cliched. Like oh we need his friends to be mad at him in the third act so he can realize what's important and redeem himself, so we'll make his friend who offered to let him go on his date be furious at him about it, and we'll make the girl furious at him too because... I can't even remember why now, because of their fake fight? Such a pointless movie

Tall Girl was terrible lmao she was an absolute arsehole to her lovely nothing-but-supportive BFF and her little boyfriend was creepy. So terrible.

Sounds like in Sarah Burgess where Sarah completely fucks over her friend because she thinks her friend likes the guy she's fake dating or something.

Tall Girl was a huge letdown.

It had no aim or real purpose.

Also yeah poor her she’s tall, thin, blonde and pretty. I think they just cast super short people for the rest of the school.

Nah she actually is that tall. She's (in)famous for being kicked off of the Dance Moms team because Abby thought she was too tall to be a real dancer.

Which is... why they made the movie iirc? Or at least why they cast her despite her not being an actress? I feel like the two were connected but I can't remember why or how (and don't care enough to google it).

mte, i felt nonplussed about the whole thing because ya ok 6 foot 1 is tall for a girl, but it's not THAT tall in this day and age. they were trying real hard to make her seem like a freak or something, but like... if i wear a moderate heel, that's how tall i am and i'm not crazy tall at 175cm. it really must have been a short ass cast around her.

Welllll tbh they aren't in my country. We're not very tall on average lmao like my bro is 6'2 and he's considered an anomaly and little kids stare at him in awe.

They’re not. At least not in the US. A girl that tall, compared to her peers, in a school like that is definitely going to get a lot of shit growing up.

(Still was a trash movie and her BFF deserved better tho.)

Where are you from? In the US at least and I think in a lot of other countries, even most teenage boys are under 6’. So it would be especially more awkward for a teenage girl because ~girls aren’t supposed to be taller than guys~
