While i also think that Joey/Rachel was pointless (like a normal person with commmon sense) i gotta admit i was hooked with the season 9 cliffhanger, and it was so rare for Friends to use soundtrack, but that Interpol song added a lot to that moment.
"Hide & Seek" by Imogen Heap
The O.C. / SNL
Sure, it made the moment in which Marissa killed Meth!Tom Hardy a memorable one, the best use of the song happened during the best SNL sketch Andy Samberg did.
"Everywhere I Go" by Lissie
Underrated as it was, right after she saved the world, Echo had her dead love-interest's memories implanted into her mind. Is a pretty moment and a nice finale, for a very dark show.
"Move Like U Stole It [Mix Cut]" by Paul Oakenfold
lbr, Ian and Mickey is the only reason Shameless is still alive and as toxic as they were, they had some great moments. The one in which Mickey kisses Ian in public for the first time comes to mind...
"Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol
An iconic Grey's moment. WHY?!!! WHY DID DENNY HAD TO DIE?!!! I'M STILL BITTER AFTER 14 YEARS SHONDA!! GOD DAMMIT!!!!
"Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley
The West Wing
Almost every single show in existence has used this song, but probably one of the best uses were made by The West Wing. i didn't even watch the show and i'm crying.
"Toxic" by Britney Spears
A Spy show using Toxic, seems almost dumb that nobody thought about this before, and it goes so well with Chuck's funny tone.
"O Death" by Jen Titus
A great use of an unknown song for such a big moment. the introduction of Death, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse was great mainly because of this song.
"Take on The World" by You Me At Six
The Vampire Diaries
The optimistic/nostalgic tone of the song played very well for the end of the vampire diaries and for Stefan/Damon's reunion in the afterlife.
"Dominique" by Jeannine Deckers
American Horror Story: Asylum
NOOOOO!!! STOP IT!!!! OMGGGG!!! NO WONDER PEOPLE WENT CRAZY!!!!!!
