The current Broadway cast of Hadestown appeared on GMA earlier this week to make the tour announcement and perform a mashup of "Way Down Hadestown" and "Wait For Me". GMA was kind enough to record that performance with a potato:

Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban visited the Broadway production of Moulin Rouge! Nicole posed for pics with the cast and the current Satine, Karen Olivo.

The Off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish has released a cast album, and Playbill released a "behind the scenes" video from the album recording. Here's a full song from the show (which OP would highly recommend):

The Prom and Be More Chill both closed on August 11th thanks to slow ticket sales, but their last week on Broadway was a success, with both shows at over 98% capacity.

Moulin Rouge!, The Lion King, and Hamilton are Broadway's top current grossers.

Some other miscellanous info FYI, NYC theater attendees:

Betrayal, the upcoming play starring Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Cox and Zawe Ashton, have released a lot of $25 seats for upcoming performances, with many of the $25 seats located on the sides of the orchestra. (OP couldn't resist!)

The Hercules digital lottery is open from now until August 28th at noon for all dates. Enter via TodayTix for your chance to see Hercules at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park, which runs from August 31st - September 8th.
