First Look at FX's 'Mrs. America' Cast

Mrs America, a 9-episode mini-series currently in production tells the story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment in the 1970s, and the unexpected backlash led by a conservative woman named Phyllis Schlafly. This battle ultimately gave rise to the Moral Majority and forever shifted America’s political landscape. The show's insane cast includes:
Cate Blanchett in her first TV role as Phyllis Schlafly (she's also one of the executive producers)
Elizabeth Banks as Jill Ruckelshaus, a special White House assistant and a feminist activist
James Marsden as Phil Crane, a Republican Congressman
Sarah Paulson as Alice, a composite character
Uzo Aduba as Shirley Chisholm, the first black Congresswoman
Rose Byrne as Gloria Steinem, the second-wave feminist icon
John Slattery as Fred Schlafly, Phyllis' husband
Margo Martindale as Bella Abzug, US Congresswoman
Tracey Ullman as Betty Friedan, who, along with Abzug, Steinem, and Chisholm, founded the National Women’s Political Caucus.
Kayli Carter, Ari Graynor, Melanie Lynskey and Jeanne Tripplehorn will also appear.

Mad Men's Dahvi Waller wrote the series while Captain Marvel co-writers and directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are directing the first two eps.

Old news, but it wasn't posted and I didn't see anyone discussing it here. Also, I thought this was a Ryan Murphy show, probably bc of Paulson lol
