Taylor Swift had her indentured Swifites in a tizzy on Tuesday night when she uploaded a video announcing she would be making and announcement on Wednesday's edition of GMA! Speculation began immediately; what could she be announcing? A new single destined to peak at #2? That her deluxe albums would include copies of her medical records? The names of the Swifties whose social insurance numbers were stolen from her friends at Capital One?
All wrong! She's performing a concert in Central Park the day before her new album Lover™ is released! The announcement lasted less than a 10 seconds and was shot on the front facing camera of her iPhone.
BONUS: ME! 7" Vinyl Mixup!
Earlier this week, people began to receive the "limited edition" ME! 7" vinyl records that team Swift was pumping out back in April in an attempt to dethrone Old Town Road, and some fans weren't pleased. After months of waiting, one Swifite put their record on their turntable, only to find that ME! wasn't on the record at all! Instead, they were treated to Retourner là Bas by Jean-Baptiste Guégan, the winner of France's Got Talent 2018. It turns out it wasn't an isolated incident: multiple twitter users reported the same problem. The record label has yet to respond to complaints, and fans are unsure if the vinyl will be refunded or replaced.
@taylornation13 was so excited to get my ME! vinyl in the mail only to listen to and discover it’s not the right song. it’s a song called Retourner lá-bas by Jean-Baptiste Guegan. i’m pretty mad but at the same time i literally cannot stop laughing pic.twitter.com/QHkZJzPTH8

Some Swift fans are convinced that this mixup is actually a clue / easter egg and that the people who got mispresses are invited over to Taylor's house to listen to her new album.
