Bachelor in Paradise‘s Demi Burnett, who was on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor, came out on Twitter. Demi's relationship with a woman was highlighted in the Bachelor in Paradise trailer, which was released earlier this week.
After the trailer aired, Demi tweeted, “Spoiler alert: I’m a queer queen.” Since then, Demi has been receiving homophobic tweets. Her friends and fellow cast mates have come out to support her.

The moment you described the relationship as disgusting is the moment you claimed yourself as homophobic https://t.co/rSnrWJR0Hw— Demi Burnett (@demi_burnett) July 24, 2019

The hate below is absolutely abominable! Bravo to Demi for breaking barriers in The Bachelor Franchise and on a National Network in the pursuit of love and happiness.
