Christy Carlson Romano launches her very own YouTube Channel, makes a Naco with Will Friedle




The latest celebrity to launch a YouTube Channel? Former Even Stevens and Disney Channel actress Christy Carlson Romano with “Christy’s Kitchen Throwback.”

Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, themselves, make THE FAMOUS NACO! Christy Carlson Romano and Will Friedle have an absolute blast recreating one of Kim Possible’s favorite foods! Christy and Will dish about their time working together on Kim Possible and chat about everything from Boy Meets World, to Even Stevens, to how they’ve recently rejoined forces on Big Hero 6 (spoiler alert)! In the video, watch Will sing the “Naked Mole Rap”, watch Christy attempt to sing “Say the Word”, and watch them unbox some OG Kim Possible toys and recreate one of their favorite scenes! They cook the tastiest NACO and, of course, like in every Christy’s Kitchen Throwback video, there’s plenty of bloopers!



Ingredients

TACO FILLING:
2 tbsp olive oil
½ yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning

CHRISTY-MOLE
4 Avocados
1 clove garlic, finely minced
½ bunch of cilantro, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, diced
½ yellow onion, diced
1 lime, juiced
Salt to taste

NACO BAR
2 tomatoes, diced
½ head of romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup cilantro, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 bag tortilla chips
1 package large flour tortillas
1 15 oz. jar queso
1 batch CHRISTY-mole (recipe to follow)
1 jar salsa

Directions

FIRST MAKE YOUR TACO FILLING:
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and break it up into small pieces. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent, about 3 minutes. Add the taco seasoning and stir until all the ingredients are evenly coated. Remove from heat and set aside.

MAKE THE CHRISTY-MOLE:
First, cut the avocados in half. After getting rid of the pit, use a butter knife to criss-cut each half. Use a spoon to scoop out the squares of avocado from their skins and drop them into a large mixing bowl. Add the tomatoes, cilantro, onion, garlic, and lime juice and stir to combine. Add salt to taste. Set aside.

ASSEMBLE THE NACO:
Fill a medium size bowl with a single serving of tortilla chips. Add as much toppings as you want and give everything a light toss so that the chips are covered. Heat a tortilla in a non-stick skillet or over a burner on a gas stove until soft. Fill with your Naco creation and enjoy!
