Twitter was in a frenzy this weekend after a fan posted a photo taken with Eilish in which the singer was wearing an outfit unlike her regular wardrobe. The photo was quickly re-posted by a fan who commented that Eilish is "thick" and then further defended the tweet by adding that Eiligh is "legal now in almost half of the country, and all countries outside of the US." The original tweets have been deleted but screenshots can be found below (courtesy of Google cache).
Eilish, who is known for wearing baggy clothes seemingly meant to conceal her figure, has said in a recent Calvin Klein ad that the wardrobe choices are deliberate: "I never want the world to know everything about me. I mean, that’s why I wear big, baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know? Nobody can be like, ‘Oh, she’s slim-thick, she’s not slim-thick, she’s got a flat ass, she’s got a fat ass.' No one can say any of that, because they don’t know."
