It’s been likened to a Westfield and taken more than 18 months to build. Now it looks like Chris Hemsworth’s mansion is almost complete.https://t.co/AW8gGeSHx6— Geelong Advertiser (@geelongaddy) June 5, 2019
Construction on Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky’s mega-mansion in Byron Bay is nearing completion as seen in new aerial photos taken last month. Construction began in 2017 and once completed it will include six bedrooms, a steam room, media room, gym, games room and a 50-metre rooftop infinity pool.
Nearby neighbors and residents however aren’t impressed and labeled the couple’s new lavish home as “obscene, greedy, flashy and vulgar.”
It’s estimated that the newly renovated home will be worth $20 million once it’s all said and done. The couple originally paid $7 million for the property back in 2014 and tore down the original eight bedroom Balinese-style mansion.
