Best known for his role as Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard has just become the new face of French luxury fashion house, Saint Laurent. The brand’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello announced on Instagram that the 16-year-old actor and musician has been cast to front the Fall/Winter 2019 campaign lensed by venerable photographer, David Sims. He joins actors Vincent Gallo and Keanu Reeves who were both recently featured in ads for the brand.

The first pictures show Wolfhard embracing the rockstar role, complete with statement sunglasses and a leather jacket. In an accompanying campaign video, he wears a slim-cut suit with a shirt, tie and shiny leather boots.
Wolfhard, who is also the frontman of indie rock band Calpurnia, perfectly embodies the rock’n'roll spirit of the Parisian label as he suits up in a skinny two-piece styled with patent leather boots. In another image, the Vancouver-born actor and musician is seen wearing a striped shirt with a tie and leather jacket — the look is completed with a pair of statement sunglasses, no less.
Stranger Things season 3 is set to be released on July 4, 2019 via Netfix.
2019 will be a busy year for Finn. In addition to returning to Stranger Things season 3 as Mike Wheeler, the actor will be reprising his role as young Richie Tozier in the sequel, It Chapter Two, due September 6th. He will also be portraying young Boris in the John Crowley-directed fim, The Goldfinch, set for September 13th. The trailer is set to drop tomorrow. And he'll be lending his voice to the upcoming animated movie, The Addams Family, due October 11th. He was recently cast with Carrie Coon and Mckenna Grace in the Jason Reitman-directed sequel, Ghostbusters 2020, which is set to be released July 10, 2020.
