Judge Rules that Woodstock 50's Heart Can Go On... But Will It?

- a few weeks ago, Woodstock, LLC. filed an injunction to get invested money returned to them
- a judge has ruled that Woodstock 50 which was allegedly cancelled can continue
- however the money from Dentsu Aegis, the financier that backed out last month does not have to give back the $18 million it originally promised to Woodstock, LLC
- the judge ruled that the financier was not within its right to cancel the festival, but also ruled that Woodstock, LLC "fell very short" in proving they deserved the money back
- Woodstock has a few days to gather funding and who knows what will happen at this point? (OP thinks the organizers will start emailing the artists' teams to see if they'll give some of the money back)
