one of my parents dogs is a rescue from a puppy mill and he HATES men :( it's so clear that he was abused by men and the only man he really will be around is my dad <3
Anyway, fast forward to the night, I'm half asleep in bed and my husband finally comes home - Dylan was NOT having it. "BARK BARK BARK BARK WTF ARE YOU!!! I WILL PROTECT HER! BAAAAARK GROWL!" And that's how my husband met Dylan. They soon became best buds.
But Dylan was not done. We would have guy friends over and Dylan hated the bigger, stockier guys. Dylan would run after them and bite their legs as they were leaving the house. It's like he had to get in the last word or something. "Don't come back!"
Dylan soon realized that our friends, and anyone we had around, weren't anything like his past (he was 10 when we decided to adopt). So he grew out of the "bite people as they leave" phase rather quick.

also my L hip is so tight and sore. it's like i have a stripe of muscle knots between my pelvis and hip bone that don't exist on my R side. it's like this painful line i can bump over. ugh.
