'The View' Round-Up: Felons Voting, Female Candidates, Real Housewives' Feminism, and More

Meghan throws a hissy fit. CNN hosted a town hall with Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, and Pete Buttigieg. They discuss Bernie Sanders' view that felons should have the right to vote while incarcerated. Kamala said she was unsure where she stood on the issue, while Pete is against it. Sunny says that states like Vermont and Maine allow this and it's a state by state issue. Whoopi tries to make the point that felons who have been incarcerated and get rehabilitated should have their right to vote reinstated but she keeps getting interrupted by Meghan who's having a tantrum. Meghan says that terrorists should not have the right to vote and the Boston bomber should be executed.

Joy thinks it would be a blessing if any of these three women won but she really likes Elizabeth Warren because she has substantial policy ideas like her "ultra-millionaire tax" proposal. Abby agrees that Warren is a smart woman even though she doesn't agree with most of her ideas. Sunny is intrigued by Warren's student debt cancellation idea and thinks that is very appealing to young voters. Meghan thinks it's interesting that the women candidates are polling the worst.

Gloria Steinem says that the Real Housewives franchise is bad for feminism. Roxane Gay disagreed with her on Watch What Happens Live. Meghan thinks it allows women to be multi-faceted. Abby says that when she thinks of feminism, Real Housewives isn't the first thing she thinks about because she watches it for entertainment. Sunny agrees with Abby.
