Riverdale Roundup: Finale Filming Drags Out, Lili Films Hustlers, and More

RAS' creative power grows stronger as he signs a major deal with WB

-Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has signed a new deal with Warner Bros. TV, which produces both Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The multiyear agreement keeps them together deep into the 2020s

-He will develop and produce new projects for the studio via his production company while continuing to run Riverdale, CAOS, and serve as EP for the Katy Keene spinoff.

-This is seen as a continuing trend of locking down showrunners who have produced profitable shows for their respective networks. Riverdale is apparently the No. 2 show on The CW, and Sabrina has been renewed up to a 4th season on Netflix.

-Get ready for more of RAS' wild (most likely) Archie-flavored id

More people wrap filming while others work wild hours for a season finale that's looking like it takes place mostly in the woods at night.
