Fans have pulled up clips from his podcast in which Shane Dawson admits to sexually abusing his cat.

This is not the first time Shane Dawson has gotten away with similar behaviour. Back in 2018 his listeners pulled up clips of him justifying pedophilia.
For the most part there has been minimal consequences. In both clips the other speaker simply tells Shane he shouldn't talk about these things but he does anyway.
