-This show follows the titular Nancy Drew (played by Kennedy McMann) during the summer after graduating high school. Just as she was going to leave her hometown, a personal tragedy (I'm assuming her mom dies) keeps her in town, and she's soon got a mystery to solve.
-Freddie Prinze Jr. will play her estranged lawyer dad, Carson Drew. He's got his own dark secrets that will interfere with her mystery solving. And the estrangement is due to his wife/her mom having recently died.
