Empire actor Jussie Smollett has been “officially classified” as a suspect in a criminal investigation for allegedly filling a false police report, according to Chicago police communications Officer Anthony Guglielmi. He goes on to state it is a Class 4 felony and that detectives are currently presenting evidence before a Cook County grand jury.
Minutes before this news broke, CBS2 in Chicago obtained an exclusive video of the two brothers (Ola and Abel Osundairo) linked to the attack. The brothers appear to buy ski masks, gloves, bandanas, sunglasses and red hats from a store the day before the assault.
