Michael Jackson's estate slams ‘Leaving Neverland’ in 10-page letter to HBO: "It is a disgrace"

· In a 10-page letter to HBO's CEO Richard Plepler, Michael Jackson's estate slammed Dan Reed's documentary Leaving Neverland which will have its TV premiere on the network in March, despite protests from fans & the Jackson family
· The letter describes the documentary as one-sided sensationalism, saying Reed didn't interview anyone on Michael's side, including his family members, former legal team, people who spent time with Michael as children and other who don't believe Wade Robson's or James Safechuck's stories of abuse. The letter emphasizes four lawsuits brought by the two men which were "dismissed with prejudice" and says both men owe thousands of dollars in court fees to the estate. It goes on to say that Robson is an admitted perjurer & skilled liar whose own mother testified she couldn't tell when he was lying
· The estate lawyers said they would be happy to discuss a solution with HBO. In a statement released last month, the Jackson family referred to the doc as a "public lynching." Michael's nephew Taj said the family hasn't been allowed to screen the documentary, which premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival

Michael's stans point to this as the smoking gun which disproves Wade's claims bc Wade said Michael discouraged him from dating women
