In next week's SVU, Jennifer Esposito guest stars! Apparently she works Vice, and there's a trafficking ring, and the team tries to bust it, and all this is doing is making me think back to that superior S16 episode aptly titled "Undercover Mother" which gave us a) undercover Carisi in glasses, b) undercover Benson in large hoops, c) casual Amaro, and d) queen Lily Taylor literally becoming an actual madam to find her daughter who was being trafficked. Iconique! Oh, and let's not forget Barba, and Donal Logue, and Noah's paternity reveal (Johnny D!) Those were the days.
ONTD, did you watch last night's Very Special Episode? Did you like the fact the writers finally switched it up with a bottle episode, but did you also laugh at all the shouty AckTing!!!? Were you surprised that Carisi got a decent amount of screentime, and also that he had a decent opinion for once? Did you appreciate the fact the show at least tried to poorly explain why Rollins is such a hearless victim-blamer, but do you also still hate her because she literally Blue Lives Matter-ed an abusive cop while blaming his victimized wife for not leaving him(!!!)? And who would you side with, in this case (other than Fin who just wants everybody to have a donut)? Personally, I would side with the medical professionals who should have been consulted in this trial, except apparently those do not exist in the SVU universe. I miss Huang. And I almost missed you, sorry for the late post, this week was insane!
