Alan Alda On Why He'd Work With Woody Allen Again

In a recent Hollywood Reporter interview veteran actor Alan Alda, among other things, was asked how did he feel about some of the actors like Mira Sorvino (who won an Oscar for her performance in 'Mighty Aphrodite') and Colin Firth (who did yellowface in 'Magic in the Moonlight') who have expressed regret about working with Woody Allen. His answer as you can imagine was pretty much your typical bs excuse most Hollywoat actors give when confronted with that question, saying: "I'd work with him again if he wanted me. I'm not qualified to judge him. I don't know all the facts. I don't know if he's guilty or innocent. But you can be uncertain — that's what I go on. I just don't have enough information to convince me I shouldn't work with him. And he's an enormously talented guy."
