John Legend appeared in the documentary, Surviving R. Kelly, to speak out against R. Kelly. Some twitter user thought Legend was being hypocritical since he had taken a photo and worked with Harvey Weinstein. Legend responded on twitter.
I took a photo with and worked with Harvey on several occasions before his abuse was known to me and the rest of the world.
