On Meek Mill's new song "What's Free" with Rick Ross and Jay-Z, Rick Ross takes aim at Tekashi 6ix9ine with a homophobic slur.
Meek Mill previously defended Rick Ross when he received criticism in 2013 for lyrics referencing rape:
"Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it
I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it.”
At the time Meek said: "I don't even care about nobody criticizing no lyrics. People rap about killing stuff all day. Biggie said, 'Rape your kid, throw her over the bridge' back then, it was nothing, it was just hip-hop. Now you got all these weirdos on these social sites voicing their opinion about something anybody say,"
In other "What's Free" lyric news, Jay-Z responded on twitter to people who misinterpreted his lyric about Kanye: :
"No red hat, don't Michael and Prince me and Ye
They separate you when you got Michael and Prince's DNA, uh
I ain’t one of these house niggas you bought
My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours"
The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together .— Mr. Carter (@S_C_) November 30, 2018
